The original Prada Candy is a favorite “sweet gourmand” fragrance in my perfume rotation. The blend of musk and caramel is near perfection. It’s sweet but not overwhelmingly so, and it blends perfectly with my body chemistry. Every time I wear it my husband sniffs my neck and says, “Ooooh. What’s that?“

Prada Candy L’eau is my “first choice” favorite of the Candy line. The original sweet, warm caramel and benzoin / musk notes of Candy are joined by citrus, Oriental floral, and sweet pea to make up L’eau. I am not normally someone who selects a floral note perfume – I tend to gravitate to strictly gourmands – but in this one it just works. Especially with my body chemistry. It’s light, feminine, and I feel like a million bucks when I have it on. Rumors of it being discontinued break my heart since I wear this one for me!

Prada Candy Kiss is my least favorite in my Candy assortment. The original musk is blended with delicate white cotton, vanilla, and orange blossom. It’s just not “gourmand” enough for my personal tastes. I don’t feel it lasts as long as the others, but honestly a little is enough, and then I’m done with this one.

Prada Candy Florale is the most floral in my collection as far as the notes go. It is described as a floral, fruity gourmand with a blend of ‘limoncello, peony, caramel, benzoin, honey, and musk’. It’s much more complex than Candy Kiss, however, and I think that’s why the floral notes do not bother me as much. It’s a sophisticated, yet soft fragrance.
