I was recently sent the Craft & Kin Reed Diffuser Set with Dried Flowers in “Santal Woods” from @craftandkin.co and Stack Influence to review.

When I do a review, I want to actually use and review the product I’m reviewing. I do not want to cave to the pressure of an automated bot reminding me to submit my review the day before my package arrives. And the day that my package arrives. And a couple of times after that for good measure. Especially when it’s an item like a reed diffuser. To me, it’s not something you just unpack and say, “Yeah. Looks great.” Does it smell great? Does it leak? Does the scent fill up a room between flipping the reeds over? Do people in the house even like the scent?

I’ve had the Craft & Kin Reed Diffuser Set with Dried Flowers in “Santal Woods” since mid-August. Included inside was beautiful 5-ounce dark green glass bottle with the essential oil blend “Santal Woods” (“warm and woody fragrance that combines the essence of sandalwood with a hint of exotic spices”), 6 black reed diffuser sticks, and a dried flower arrangement “to blend in the diffuser design beautifully with your home”.

Aesthetically, this diffuser is perfect. It goes great with our home decor and is beautiful to look at. Assembly was a breeze. All I had to do was insert the reeds and arrangement and the diffuser was good to go. No leaks! We all agreed the scent was wonderful. I loved the fragrance when I opened the bottle. Unfortunately that was the last time I truly smelled it with full intensity. We’ve displayed the diffuser in the center of our living room and you have to be next to it to smell anything, even when I’ve just flipped the reeds.

I would recommend this for a much smaller space like a bathroom or laundry room. If it is placed anywhere with “competing” scents or any expanse, the aroma benefits will be lost.

It would make a wonderful gift, especially for those who are decor-challenged. Would I purchase it again? I am very intrigued with Craft & Kin’s “Wild Lavender” scent for spring when I decorate the downstairs bath in a Paris theme! [link: TikTok / Instagram]
