I’ve been lucky enough to test out a couple of amazing new gourmand fragrances this month and wanted to share them here!
First up is Maison Louis Marie’s “No.13 Nouvelle Vague” Eau de Parfum, courtesy of Beautytap.
“This refreshing, rich scent takes you to the Italian island of Capri’s Amalfi Coast. No.13 transports you to springtime on the Italian coast…walking along a tiny oceanside street lined with blooming wildflowers and native lemons. It captures an uplifting citrus accord, floral bouquet, and coconut wrapped with Tuscan fig and agave. Tonka and undertones of golden woods ground this blend in comfort and warmth.”
I was also able to test / review “Dave” Eau de Parfum by Henry Rose, provided through Skeepers.
“’Dave‘ is named after my husband, David… I wanted to make a vanilla that defied the ‘ordinary’ stereotypes—something with depth and duality, just like David.” —Michelle Pfeiffer, founder (Yes, David E. Kelley. THAT David. The company is named after the middle names of their two children, Claudia Rose and John Henry.)
‘Dave‘ is a chantilly vanilla wrapped in the delicate floral notes of neroli and the rich gourmand of cocoa shell and tonka bean.“
