Lancôme Le 8 Hypnôse Serum-Infused Volumizing Mascara has three shades in new packaging in the same exact formula I already used and loved – Noir de Malachite (green), Noir de Jaïs (blue), and Noir de Grenat (maroon).

Black mascaras tend to give me raccoon eyes so I always grab color versions when I can.

It is a great sculpting mascara for better lash shape and depth. It is scented but not so much as to be a distraction. I do have to ‘scrape’ the brush on the edges of the tube opening a few times to prevent excess / clumping but the formula is easy to correct with a cosmetics lash brush. (I recommend MAC 204 Lash Brush.) No spider leg lashes!

I am very pale with porcelain skin-tone / pink undertones and light blonde hair & lashes so all three shades show up well on me. The Malachite is my favorite with my green eyes.
